Design Notes

In order to ensure that the novel antimicrobial peptide of human origin can be successfully expressed in EcN, we performed codon optimization.

This plasmid, pET29(a)-pJ23119-TIpA39-T-pTIpA-RBS-PhiX174E-T7, utilizes the pET29a vector, commonly employed for robust gene expression in Escherichia coli.
